• Quality Assurance Specialist Stephen Brown’s primary objective is to help Habanero ensure the release of quality solutions. You can typically find him searching for and establishing clarity within requirements and testing the implemented functionality. Effective communication with developers and requirements owners – most of which takes place within DevOps – is a critical part of his day.

  In the spring of 2000, Stephen completed the software systems development course at British Columbia Institute of Technology and immediately began working for Top Producer Systems in the role of quality assurance tester, and subsequently, as a test lead. This ultimately led to over 20 years of quality assurance experience dedicated to testing both desktop and cloud-hosted solutions. Through his time in the IT industry, Stephen has performed everything from network administration to project management. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys time with his wife and daughter, perpetually renovating his home, local travel, gardening, and generally tinkering around the house.
