• Experience Designer Laura Nugent is a skilled researcher and facilitator who creates exceptional employee experiences using a human-centered and design thinking approach. Laura brings curiosity and empathy to her work, which enables her to explore, understand and translate human behaviours into actionable insights to co-create change, drive innovation and encourage creative thinking.

  Prior to joining Habanero, Laura worked as a design researcher for Ireland’s leading utility, The Electricity Supply Board. She was heavily involved in new product development, customer experience, technology adoption, service design, new market exploration and innovation culture within the company. Laura holds a bachelor's degree in anthropology and sociology and a master's degree in design innovation from Maynooth University in her home country of Ireland. When not working, she enjoys taking road trips and exploring new places. She also values spending quality time with friends and catching up with family back in Ireland.
